How the sign is finished makes price vs. value very important

You may find lower prices, eBay items and suppliers offering equivalent descriptions ... yet there are sound differences ...

Firstly, we understand that when purchasing a sign or banner the final price is very important to you, and that true value is obtained.

Please note: To save more than we offer it must be a material choice. Being super fast and only concentrating on banner signs, we know the value offered and suggest that you may travel a few more pages to see the wide scope offered.

Consider the Weather and being outdoors.

It's now ten years of making signs, and in that time. NOT ONE banner sign has been returned because of breakage. We are very proud of this and continue the same standards for every project.

Even if your sign is subjected to wind for five minutes, it must be safe and withstand the wind forces. OHS issues apply.

Please dont waste your money with under priced materials or risk your companies advertising dollars.

Print Color Life

We achieve a Blue Wool Scale of 5 (7 is the highest and not available for banner ink yet) Committed to using quality outdoor grade inks.

Stitching

All banners are reinforced stitched. This is specialized by us. Using the longest lasting stitching materials that wont soak water and rot.

Next time you see a banner flapping in the wind, it's probably due to a reduction of material quality and all the little things that make value.

Full width Ropes

Inside the overlapping on the widest edge, the rope travels inside the full width of your sign. Ropes are not just end tags, they are totally enclosed within the lapping for additional strength.

Pneumatically punched eyelets.

This is a very important point. Pneumatically punching means less stress points, less tearing at the eyelet. Each eyelet is also reinforced with an under tab of vinyl material. We do not hammer the eyelets.

Brass non rust Eyelets.

Steel eyelets rust and separate quickly. Brass is what comes standard with our specifications. Steel is much cheaper and lesser banner quality.

Stainless Steel non rust Eyelets.

If you have a high salt region or close to the beach, please let us know if you would prefer to use stainless steel eyelets. It's only a small charge extra.

Rolled up for Delivery.

It makes no sense to purchase a banner and immediately put creases into the material. All deliveries are sent roll to roll. For larger billboard sized signs, the billboard skin may be interleafed for better 'high up installation' by the billboard crew.
All normal sized banners are sent roll to roll. Not creased of squashed inside an overnight bag. It adds only slightly to delivery cost.

Electrically Welded Seaming.

When a banner sign is wider than 3400 or 4300 (two printing machine options) we electrically weld the joint seaming.

NOTE: We do not use glue for this process. The risks with gluing are too high for such a big sign.

NOTE: You may see elsewhere on our site the term 'polywelding'. This is related to joining acrylic sheets (Perspex) together and not PVC Vinyl Banner sign material.

Banners are just big sails !

To solidify this discussion into a real life situation, the bigger the banner sign, the higher the wind loading. Banners are just big sails. If the material - finish quality of even the smallest sign is not suitable, it will tear and waste your money.

In addition, it is very poor advertising for your business to have a sign flapping and broken. Please consider all the points above for your next purchase.

We also recommend that you visit the 'What's Hot' pages to see the different values that can be added to your signwriting projects in Aust.
