Fittings and specials

The banner can slide into a canvas holder, this is called a Keder tracking system. Just like how an awning slides along the edge of a caravan. The Keder is a stronger style and made for total weather conditions. The banner slide in track (fitting) is costed per metre.

The Aluminium needed is available from all Caravan stores and Aluminium Moulding business. We do not ship the channel due to shipping costs outweighing the price of local purchase.
 

Rope Lengths

Depending on the size of your banner sign, the rope will be an approximate length of 800 mm to 1200mm. If you need additional length for your tie off ropes, please let us know.

Eyelet Diameter

Internal Diameter = 9mm
Outside Diameter = 20mm
Depth - Suited for up to 1080gsm vinyl material
Pneumatically punched with rear locking fit system (triangulated)

Measurements

We will do our best to get the most accurate sizing when printing and finishing your banner sign. Please note. Sizes within Millimetres and Centimetres are not always possible due to the manufacturing process, sewing process, roll to roll process and other manufacturing constraints. It is also important to explain, that as your banner sign is made from material, some initial or post shrinkage may or may not occur.

Plastic Ropes and Elastics

We also recommend that for special applications, if you would like a corner set for elastic ropes, springs etc that you inform us pre quote. These are cheaply purchased from hardware stores and require just a slightly different end cap. It's easy and simple to keep the banner sign tension taut. We do not supply the elastics.

Buckles and Turnstiles

Some people will ask occasionally how to put up a banner sign with buckles and turnstiles. It remains the same sewing principle wherein we sew the rope inside the overlapping seam (full width). The buckle or turnstile can be hooked into the eyelet and tensioned accordingly. We suggest your local hardware for fitting suited to the final installation you plan.
